What is a doula?

A doula is a trained professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and educational support to a birthing person before, during and shortly after childbirth to help them achieve the healthiest, most satisfying experience possible.
Benefits of Hiring a Doula:

Why do I need a doula?

Studies have shown that having a doula present during childbirth can lead to shorter labor durations, reduced rates of medical interventions, and increased satisfaction with the birth experience for both parents. Overall, the presence of a labor doula can provide invaluable support and guidance, helping expectant parents feel empowered, confident, and well-supported as they welcome their new arrival.

How to prepare for your Belly Casting session:
  • Please shower on the morning of your session.

  • DO NOT apply any oils/creams to your bust, belly, or waist area

  • If your hair falls below your jawline. Please wear your hair up in a ponytail or bun

  • Please empty bladder before the appointment. You will not be able to use the restroom during your casting session

  • Wear old clothing items you don’t mind getting casting products on. The casting process can be a bit messy

  • Will arrive 10 minutes prior to your Belly Casting appointment to fill-out waiver

  • We will provide nipple covers, but you can choose to stay in your bra!*

  • Clients late 15 minutes or more for their Belly Cast appointment will be rescheduled and will incur an additional $50 fee for the inconvenience
